Meet Chad Robinson

Meet Chad Robinson, City Councilman Ward 20, proudly running for re-election to the Charleston City Council.

Chad enthusiastically represents his city.  The best interests of the citizens of Charleston always is his primary concern.  Having lived in Kanawha City for nearly 40 years, he truly understands the needs and concerns of his ward and of the city.  He has been a self-employed Charleston businessman for 30 years working in association management and government relations.  This provides him with a knowledge of local government to help make informed decisions for the city.

He has been married to Jessie for 24 years and they have raised 2 children, Chase and Abbie, in Kanawha City schools and local youth programs.  Chad and Jessie have supported the Charleston area youth sports programs. Chad served as President of the Kanawha City Youth Basketball League for over 10 years. He is Past President of the Capital Midwestern Little League, having served for 9 years in that position.  Even though his children are now attending West Virginia University, Chad continues to serve on the boards of these programs to enhance youth recreation in his city.

As councilman, he has actively served and participated in the following committees:

Parks & Recreation Committee
